Pricing questions

A Kafka topic, Kinesis stream, or Flink job endpoint. Each monitored unit counts as one topic.
We buffer and sample. We won't drop your pipeline monitoring. We'll notify you to upgrade before enforcement kicks in.
Yes. Every paid tier starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
We store schema fingerprints and metadata only, not event payloads. Your event data stays in your broker.
We run internal controls built with SOC 2 criteria in mind and can share that documentation with Scale customers under NDA. We have not completed a formal third-party audit yet. If your procurement team requires a completed SOC 2 report, we are not the right fit today. We'd rather tell you that upfront than after a trial.
Schema Registry enforces registered schemas at produce time for Avro, Protobuf, and JSON Schema topics. It doesn't catch optional-field drift on existing schemas, value-range anomalies, or events from producers that bypass registry enforcement. It also doesn't handle volume anomalies (silent producer shutdown) or auto-reroute bad events. If all your topics are under strict registry governance with no exceptions, Schema Registry may be sufficient. If you have JSON topics, mixed-schema topics, or producers outside your registry perimeter, Streamforge adds a second layer of protection the registry can't provide.
